Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that serves the result function. Mentor Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those search entries. A message sent to us contains only the information in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services may create standard logs such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate patterns to operate and improve Mentor directory pages. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Technical information supports site operation, problem solving, aggregate traffic measurement, and content maintenance. We do not sell visitor lists or assemble individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Mentor pages link to Lake County and Ohio offices, library collections, archives, and outside search services. Those providers control their own privacy practices for information submitted on their systems. That includes sponsored results supplied by a third party.
Service Provider Access
Providers that host or support the service can process the technical logs described above. Analytics or advertising partners may receive equivalent automatic information. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires disclosure and not for unrelated purposes.
Safeguards
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operating purposes described here. Because the service has no user accounts, it does not keep a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted information so it can be removed.
Choices About Your Data
You may ask about access, correction, or deletion of information this service holds. Since Mentor Residents Directory keeps very little, a request generally means checking the contact mailbox and available logs, then removing applicable information. Use the Contact page. Government records maintained by Ohio, Lake County, or Mentor are not under our control. Their public-record access and redaction rules are governed in part by Ohio Revised Code 149.43, and requests about those records belong with the custodian.

Any revised policy will appear on this page. Continued use after a posted change signifies acceptance of the revised terms.
